We offer bridging lessons throughout the year for those willing to repeat a particular subject.

WHAT IS K.C.S.E BRIDGING?

  • It is repeating one or more subjects you sat for in your K.C.S.E with the aim of improving it. It enables you to pursue the courses you would not have qualified to do. KNEC bridging results are accepted in all institutions of higher learning.
  • Bridging from any other institution is not valid because KNEC is the only legally recognised examiner for KCSE certificate.
  • Bridging examination  is done once in a year in October and November.
  • The usual KCSE timetable is used.
  • Result slip(s) for the subjects sat are issued. Certificates are issued for at least seven subjects done.

WHO IS ELLIGIBLE FOR THE EXAM?

  • A Kenyan who has a birth certificate and KCPE certificate.
  • Must have done his/her KCSE not more than two years prior to the year he/she is bridging.
  • Must have been  registered for the examination with the KNEC.
